Plans for Dec. 10-14

December 9, 2007

Med Micro:  The two classes are on a slightly different schedule due to project presentations and class sizes.  This week the classes will finish presentations on fungal/parasitic diseases, we will make brochures about how to prevent getting sick, and of course we will review for the final exam.

Chemistry:  All class periods should be in the same place:

Monday:  Final Exam Review Pt. 2 - conversions, matter classification
Tuesday:  Review for Wed/Thurs test over gas laws and empirical/molecular formula.
Wednesday/Thursday:  TEST:  Gas Laws and Empirical/Molecular Formula
Final Exam Review Pt. 3 - Bonding, Periodic Table
Friday:  Final Exam Review Pt. 4 - Reactions and Stoichiometry

Chemistry students are being given topic-specific review sheets each day to review for the final exam.  They should finish all the questions on one review sheet before the next review day.  Answer keys to previous sections of the review will be posted in the classroom throughout the week.

Final Exams are Coming Dec. 17-20!

Studying suggestions -
Start early!

My tutorial schedule is as follows: Tuesdays after school, Fridays before school, Mondays during lunch. Advance notice is needed for Monday and Friday tutorials because you will need a pass in order to get into the East-2 hallway.

You can start studying by looking over old tests and quizzes. It will help to work through the review sheet you receive in class, but it will also help you to go through your old notes and make your own review sheet including important information that you know that you individually need to study for your final exam!
